Syndicat Saint Eloi Joins the Responsible Jewellery Council
May 08, 11(IDEX Online News) - Syndicat Saint Eloi, the French Union of Watch and Jewellery Traders (the Union du Commerce, de l’Horologerie, Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie et Accessoires), has become a Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
“I am delighted to welcome Syndicat Saint Eloi as the 12th trade association to join RJC,” says RJC CEO Michael Rae. “Syndicat Saint Eloi joins an impressive list of key national and international trade associations that have made the strong commitment to support the RJC’s mission.”
Rae is referring to Jewelers of America, the American Gem Society, the National Association of Goldsmiths, the British Jewellers Association, the World Gold Council, the Union Française BJOP, the Danish Jewellers Association, Confindustria Federorafi, Club degli Orafi, Platinum Guild International and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association.
Through their strong national ties, RJC Trade Associations can assist their members in offering tailored guidance, advice and support in the steps toward RJC Member Certification.
