Dalumi Sets Foot in Mumbai
May 19, 11(IDEX Online News) – Israel-headquartered diamond firm Dalumi opened an office in Mumbai, saying it wants to be closer to the fastest growing diamond center in the world.
Dalumi, a DTC Sightholder, has offices and operations in many places in the world. It said it has been highly active in the Indian market for several years prior to opening the Mumbai office.
“The Dalumi office in Mumbai will be the Group's finger on the pulse of the industry, assisting global buying teams and providing us with swift access to both Indian diamonds and Indian clients,” the company said in a release.
“Since India has established manufacturing excellence in jewelry and diamonds, our Mumbai office will work with highly skilled jewelers in the northern and eastern regions of the country,” it added.
Dalumi has hired a local staff, saying it will enable the firm to leverage its combined strength to address both the global market and our local clients.
The new office is located at 106,1st floor, Shreeji Darshan, Tata Rd No.2 Opposite Prasad Chambers at the Opera House area in south Mumbai.
