NJN: Gitanjali USA Division Re-Brands, Refocuses
May 26, 11(IDEX Online News) - Jewelry Marketing Company (JMC), a division of Gitanjali USA, announced this week that it is re-branding as the Aston Luxury Group.
As a division of Gitanjali USA, the American arm of Indian jewelry giant Gitanjali Group, JMC is known for its designs and brands: bridal brands Affiance, PassionStone and Canadia, alternative metals line REVV and the soon-to-be-launched Love Universe.
JMC said that, with the introduction of Aston, the company will be focusing on innovations in marketing, e-commerce, philanthropy and unique distribution of its products.
“The Aston Luxury Group will be the umbrella company for all of our current and future brand distribution in the U.S.A.,” Jon Mitchell, president of the Aston Luxury Group, said. “The corporate name change more accurately reflects our mission and focus on fine brands within an ever-changing business model.”
He added that move is in line with the company’s vision for the future, which includes developing new product lines.
Leading the re-branding effort is Aston’s new creative director Jamison Ernest. Ernest is the founder of New York-based Yellow Fever Creative, which focuses on jewelry, art, music, fashion, film and new media. He is best known for owning Brooklyn Beat Records and the Yellow Fever fashion label.
