(IDEX Online News) – Jovella 2011, Israel’s 8th international jewelry and diamond exhibition, will be held July 5–6 in Tel Aviv. The exhibition will feature a Designer Boulevard, as well as collaboration with Shenkar College’s Department of Jewelry Design.
This year’s exhibition will feature twenty Israeli designers, placed in the Designer Boulevard. They represent a fresh approach to jewelry design and use of materials and in addition to gold, silver, semi-precious stones, pearls, will show items from recycled materials and plastic, according to the sponsors, the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI).
Some 50 jewelry design students from Shenkar College will be exhibiting over 80 pieces at the show. The Israeli jewelry and diamond industry regularly cooperate with local design schools in order to incorporate young talent into their businesses. The students will be showing items made of gold, silver, brass as well as plastic, textiles, porcelain, paper and wood.
In addition, JOVELLA 2011 exhibitors will offer gold, diamond, silver and fashion jewelry as well as loose diamonds in an IDI sponsored Diamond Pavilion.
