Easy Access to Documents Part of New KP Site

(IDEX Online News) – The calls for greater transparency by the Kimberley Process were heard. A wealth of decisions, background information, data about the working groups and more are now available on the KP website.

The new site, programmed from scratch, is replacing the old and out dated site that suffered from difficult navigation and infrequent updates.

Visitors to the site can now quickly learn who chair and participates in the different working groups, read and download reports, notices and Administrative Decisions starting with AD1 that defines rules for meetings, news, related links and even a blog with the first post by the current Chair, Ambassador Milovanovic.

A useful feature is a list of participants. Under each country are a list of committees the country is a member of, KP trade statistics and related documents such as administrative decisions.

A participants only site is currently under construction.
