40% of Men would Consider Wearing Engagement Ring

September 18, 25 by John Jeffay

(IDEX Online) - Almost 40 per cent of men say they'd consider wearing an engagement ring.

That's the result of a survey of over 1,000 men in the UK by the online jeweler 77 Diamonds.

In response to the question "Would you consider wearing a male engagement ring?" 21 per cent said "yes, definitely" and 18 per cent said "yes, possibly".

Those who replied no said the main objections were that it was unnecessary and they wouldn't want to wear jewelry every day.

Most who said yes said they'd spend less on a male engagement ring than they would for their partner.

"The growing interest in male engagement rings reflects a meaningful shift in how modern couples express love and commitment," said co-founder Tobias Kormind.

"For many men, choosing to wear an engagement ring is about more than tradition, it's a shared symbol of intention, equality, and emotional connection."
