(IDEX Online) - Actress Natalie Portman stars as herself in a new global campaign film for Tiffany & Co.
The three-minute film, which debuted during the 98th Oscars on 15 March, depicts her writing a letter to her daughter, reflecting on resilience, vulnerability and self-worth.
Portman, aged 44, is an Israeli-American actress, director, and producer, best known for her Academy Award-winning role in the 2010 movie Black Swan.
"Our new campaign is a cinematic tribute to inner strength and self-love, as embodied by House ambassador Natalie Portman and the HardWear by Tiffany collection," said Tiffany.
Tiffany HardWear is a New York-inspired jewelry collection featuring signature gauge links in bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings, priced from $335 to $285,000.
"The film's narrative honors the act of love involved in passing down wisdom between generations, mirroring the enduring nature of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, as captured through iconic HardWear designs."
It was directed by Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet and shot by cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. It features a reworked soundtrack of Moon River, originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's.
