Dubai Diamond Exchange to Hold Tender of 26,000 Carats

The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) announced that it will hold a rough diamond tender with Global Diamond Tenders DMCC, offering run-of-mine production from South Africa at the DDE Exchange floor from June 8 to June 10.

 

DDE notes that the goods will range in size from -3+1 sieve size to +10 carats, totaling 26,000 carats, and will be presented in manufacturers’ assortments in all sizes of sawables, makeables, cleavages, flats, rejections and boart. Buyers may offer on numerous parcels according to their requirements.

 

The tender will be strictly by appointment. Participation is open to all DDE members, free of charge, while non-DDE members will be charged $250 as a daily viewing fee.

 

The DDE also announced that the 2011 World Federation of Diamond Bourses Presidents’ Meeting will be hosted by the DDE.
