Suashish Diamonds and Star Diamond – USA Merger

The India-based Suashish Diamonds, a DTC Sightholder, revealed at the recent DTC Year End reviews in India that it bought Star Diamond – USA and is forming a new company incorporating all the business of Star Diamond – USA. The new company will be named SuashishStar.

 

SuashishStar will be owned by Suashish, the Fiszman family, Nicky and Robby Polak. Suashish Diamonds is a publicly traded company on the Bombay Stock Exchange employing some 15,000 in its Mumbai and Gujarat factories. Nicky Polak will head SuashishStar.

The new company will add the marketing, distribution and design arms of the New York-based jewelry company with the diamond and jewelry factory in Mumbai.
