Scanty WebCut Diamond Dress Catches More than Flies

American singer and actress Samantha Mumba was the center of attention in a skimpy diamond dress set with Dali Diamond’s WebCut diamond at the Spiderman II premiere in London.

Designed by UK fashion designer Scott Henshall, the $5 million dollar dress created a lot of buzz at the premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the summer.
With support from Dali Diamond of Antwerp, Scott's diamond creation is another examples of the bling statement dresses seen recently from film premieres to the Oscars.
Dali Diamond created an 18 karat gold chain set with 2,400 diamonds weighing 261 carats, which linked 8 spider diamond set brooches. But its "piece de resistance" was the stunning WebCut Spider Ring, which covered the whole of Samantha's right hand - the ring was set with over 546 diamonds weighing 21 carats.
2,476 diamonds were woven into the dress weighing 423 carats, adding to a total value of $5 million – apparently the most expensive diamond dress in the world.
