ICA Opens Ambassador’s Office in Beijing

Aiming to promote colored gemstones in producing and consumer markets countries, Zhengfa Liu, the current ICA ambassador to China, announced he has established an ICA Ambassador’s office in Beijing, the capital of China.
The new ICA office is collecting information on consumer and product market of colored gemstones in China, planning special events to promote colored gemstones in the consumer market and looking into how to help ICA members promote their businesses in the Chinese market.
Zhengfa said he would “contact the [key] government officials and local jewelry trade associations. We will make our recommendations on how to proceed further during a presentation at the ICA Congress in Thailand in February of 2005”.
