Diamdel, DJMI Diamond Conference to Promote BPP in Secondary Market

Rough diamond trader Diamdel, a subsidiary of De Beers, and Antwerp’s Diamond, Jewellery and Management Institute (DJMI) will host the Diamdel Diamond Conference, part of a series of DJMI interactive workshops sponsored by Diamdel to be held over the next six months.

The conference, to be held October 17 at the University of Antwerp, is intended to cover key subjects of contemporary interest to the Antwerp industry.

It will include presentations on Conflict Diamonds by Alex Yearsley of Global Witness, The Diamond Development Initiative by Simon Gilbert of the De Beers Group and Ethics and Good Governance by Christian Leysen, Chairman of the AXE Group.
