Hong Kong Jewelry Exports Grows by 17% in 2007

Jewelry exports from Hong Kong, the world's fourth-largest jewelry exporter, increased by 17 percent to HK$33.8 billion (US$4.3 billion) in 2007.
The U.S. and Europe were Hong Kong’s leading jewelry markets. Diamond has also been growing. In 2007 Hong Kong imported polished diamonds worth $1.657 billion from Belgium and $1.31 billion worth of goods from Israel and $529 million worth of polished from the U.S.
