(IDEX Online) – Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Ltd., the world's largest jewelry retailer, will be opening its first jewelry store in Hawaii, the company said.
The Hong Kong-traded firm has signed an agreement with the DFS Group, a luxury travel retailer, to open its first-ever branded boutique next month at T Galleria by DFS, in central Honolulu, close to the famous Waikiki Beach.
The almost 1,000-square-foot gallery will sell exclusive items such as Oriental Blessings and Jardin Magique, as well as its Hearts on Fire-branded diamond and wedding jewelry and a wide range of its other jewelry.
T Galleria by DFS offers more than 140 brands from watches and jewelry to beauty and fragrances, fashion and accessories, wines and spirits and food and gifts.
The DFS store has developed jewelry as a key category for Japanese travelers in particular due to its status as a popular wedding and honeymoon destination.
Chow Tai Fook Managing Director Kent Wong said: “The signing ceremony marks a key milestone in the partnership between Chow Tai Fook and DFS. We are excited to bring the first-ever Chow Tai Fook branded store to Hawaii, supported by DFS’ extensive retail expertise, in order to capture the vast growth potential of leisure spending in the Hawaii market.”
