DMCC’s CEO to Address ICA Congress

Tawfique Abdullah, CEO of the Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre and president of the Dubai Diamond Exchange, will review the role that colored gemstones currently play in Dubai’s diamond, gemstone and jewelry trade.

Abdullah will make his presentation during a congress session entitled “The Downstream Perspective - Emerging Markets”.

“There is no doubt that together with the fast growing demand for high-quality jewelry items in the Dubai local and tourist markets, opportunities for colored gemstones sales have been growing,” said Amu Laxman, ICA’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
