I. Hennig & Co. Celebrates 120th Anniversary

(IDEX Online News) - The world’s oldest and largest international diamond brokering company, I. Hennig & Co., celebrated its 120th anniversary this week at its London headquarters. Managing Director Arik Sela reflected that the company’s success comes from not only serving the client, but also the industry as a whole.

I. Hennig uses global initiatives coupled with analysis of the entire diamond pipeline to bring value to their clients, the company said in a release. Through these methods, I. Hennig has become a conglomerate of companies involved in broking, trading, polish tenders, manufacturing, online marketing and consulting throughout the diamond pipeline.

“Hennig continues to be pioneers and to contribute to the establishment and development of other important cutting centers, such as New York, Antwerp, Thailand, South Africa and most recently, Namibia and Botswana,” Sela said.

Sela attributed the ability to attain this to what he called the three pillars that form the solid base upon which Hennig stands: “A committed relationship with our clients, with the DTC, and – in the middle – the dedication of our staff members at all levels, in all centers and in all areas of activity.”

Sela expressed the 120 years as “100 years of experience and wisdom with the energy, drive and stamina of a 20 year-old.”
