Dalumi Funds Children’s Village House in Botswana
December 02, 07Diamond and Jewelry manufacturer Dalumi has decided to adopt a village in southern
The Tlokweng village includes 16 family houses, one of which houses 12 children. Through this charitable endeavor, Dalumi will fund the yearly purchases of food, clothes, medications and school materials for these 12 children.
“Being part of this project enables Dalumi to be really close to the local population, supporting their needs and continuing the ethical and responsible way in which we conduct our business,” said Yuval Kemp, director of Marketing and Business Development at Dalumi.
The company plans to evaluate their work with the village after one year and discuss ways in which their participation can be improved.

Dalumi was selected in November as one of DTC Botswana’s 16 Sightholders. The company recently opened a diamond polishing facility in capital city Gaborone.
