Registration Opens for Israel Diamond Week in New York

(IDEX Online News) – Registration has opened for buyers wanting to attend the second edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York. During the event, more than 100 Israeli diamond firms will be displaying their goods on the trading floor of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDCNY).
"New York is the USA's ultimate trading hub for diamonds, gems and jewelry. During the Israel Diamond Week in New York, participating buyers will have an excellent opportunity to interact with 100 diamond manufacturers, traders and suppliers and successfully complete their diamond buying ahead of the holiday season," said Shmuel Schnitzer, the newly elected president of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE).
Schnitzer added that the organization of Israel Diamond Week in New York, as well as of similar events at the IDE, were geared to giving added value to the bourse's membership.
"The IDE will continue to develop sales opportunities for its members worldwide,” he said. “Like any other industry, the international diamond trade operates in the proverbial global village. The competition between the major diamond trading centers is fierce but most often, diamond business deals are not based on the center's geographical location, but on the level of quality, service and professionalism.”
The Israel Diamond Week will take place at the DDC from November 11-14.
